I have the doors bricked up and almost sealed. I plan to start the fire the 6th. of August.
Nobori gama loading, 7-2014
This is what the first room looks like fully loaded. I will start the fire next week.
Nearing the end of loading.
The second room is finished, I am finishing the first room, the stack closest to the fire. Here are some photos. I have kept with the theme of a loose stack.
Nobori loading, 2014
Here is the second room, front stack. I am doing 2 of the shelves first and then will do the last one. The kiln is too narrow to work doing all at the same time.
Day 2 of loading the noborigama.
Here is the second room, back stack. The mushroom looking things are cups that are being fired upside down. The base is the holder. Each shelf holds 4 bowls and 4 small pieces.
