Japanese antiques, 1-28-2012

This weeks items.

There is a nail cover, kugikakushi, with a base made by Sakamoto Kyokusai. It is from the Tempyo period.

Next is a table made by the same person from wood from Yakushiji.

The last piece is a chashaku made my Kawase Sr., that is, Mr. Kawase’s father.
