Noborigama, day 2
The firing is going well. I am using old wood that isn’t giving me any problems. The temperature went to about 1,000 C. from the front, I just started the side stoking about an hour ago.
2nd. firing of 500 bowls, no Abe Anjin for me thank you, I’ve had one already..
I just lit the fire for the second round of my 1,000 bowl firing. I only have about 400 or so bowls in the 2 rooms. I have a helper coming tomorrow in the morning, I will fire till then … Continue reading
